Where Most Needed
Gifts to the Where Most Needed fund support our efforts to reach new children and adapt to meet the widespread needs of every child in our program so they can be fully released from poverty. From opening new child development centers and providing emergency medical services to delivering supportive sponsor letters and equipping local church partners with technology, every aspect of our ministry can be supported through unrestricted funds. By giving strategically through Compassion International’s Where Most Needed fund, you allow our ministry to act quickly to meet children’s needs when and wherever they appear.
Testimony
At only 8 years old, CJ was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. Earning around $10US dollars a day, CJ’s parents could not afford the open-heart surgery needed to save their daughter’s life.
Compassion staff at CJ’s child development center were able to secure funding for CJ’s heart surgery from the Where Most Needed fund. Compassion not only paid for the surgery – but also provided for the bus ride, hotel stay and food costs for CJ, CJ’s mom and our center staff member. Thanks to donations given to the Where Most Needed fund, CJ received life-saving surgery. Today, she is a healthy young woman with a strong heart.
